Brownie Layer:
- 1 cup 225g unsalted butter, melted
- 1 ½ cups 300g granulated sugar
- ¾ cup 65g Dutch-process cocoa powder
- 3 large eggs room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup 125g all-purpose flour
Espresso Soak:
- ¼ cup 60ml hot espresso or strong coffee
- 1 tbsp coffee liqueur optional
Tiramisu Topping:
- 1 cup 240g mascarpone cheese, room temperature
- ¼ cup 60ml heavy cream
- ⅓ cup 40g powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Make Brownie Batter:
Whisk melted butter, sugar, and cocoa until smooth.
Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and salt.
Fold in flour until just combined (do not overmix).
Whip Topping & Assemble:
Beat mascarpone, cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until thick. Spread over cooled brownies.
Chill 1 hour, dust with cocoa, and slice.
